Apex predator:

An apex predator stands at the top of the food chain and has no predator of its own.

Climate Change and Ice bears:

Polar Bears hunt seal of a platform of sea ice. Rising temperatures will cause the ice to melt earlier in the year, forcing the bears to shore before they have built up sufficient fat reserves to survive the period of scarce food in the late summer and early fall.
